Mindful Living Yoga Classes
Mindful Yoga starts with a seated Mindfulness practice, weaves a word of the week for inspiration and features the Bowspring system of yoga for the Teen and Adult groups and hatha yoga and appropriate Bowspring for the Tween groups. Bowspring is a new form of functional postural alignment returning us back to the natural curves of the spine.
Group classes are beginner friendly and have a maximum of 10 students to allow for individual attention.
Pre-register classes ensure the same group coming each week creating community.
My studio provides everything you need: mats, blocks, bolsters, straps and blankets. I use high-quality Half Moon products.
Mindful Yoga for Tweens and Teens starts with a seated Mindfulness practice, weaves a word of the week and draws upon flow, hatha and Bowspring yoga principles appropriate for Tweens and Teens.
Bowspring, a new form of functional postural alignment, offers Tweens and Teens a way to get back to the natural curves in the spine and will remedy issues Tweens and Teens have in the body due to texting, watching screens and sitting at desks. Each week, Tweens and Teens leave with ideas on how to take mindfulness principles off the mat, into daily life.

Mindful Yoga for Adults starts with a seated Mindfulness practice, weaves a word of the week and features the Bowspring system of yoga. Bowspring is a new form of functional postural alignment returning us back to the natural curves of the spine. Participants can expect decreased chronic pain, lightness, strength and increased vitality. Participants leave the mat with a cleansed body, a new lens on life and a joyful, centered soul.
The Bowspring practice features:
- Bent knees
- Long and strong belly
- Expanded upper back and broad shoulders
- Elongated and curved neck
- Engaged and lifted glute muscles to support the natural curvature of the lower back
- Arm toning without weight bearing

Each private or semi-private session features pre-class check-in and post-class feedback, a mindfulness practice, pose adjustments, and other special attentions.
Your class can include flow, yin, bowspring style of yoga or a combination of modalities. The theme is personalized as directed by you.
